Public Prayer Wall

A prayer or praise you submit to the public wall is automatically screened before it appears. Some submissions require a human review. If approved, the words you submitted and any first name you chose to show are visible to visitors for 14 days. Please do not include contact details or another person’s full name. A post leaving the public wall does not mean its stored record has been deleted. You can remove a public prayer from its scroll if you still have the browser key, or from My Prayers when it is connected to your account.

Encouragements left on public prayers are also screened before display. Abuse controls briefly keep hashed network rate-limit keys; they do not store the raw address in the site database.

Private Prayer Room

Prayers placed in your private room are stored in the site’s database and are not displayed on the public wall unless you choose to offer one. A private key saved in this browser is used to retrieve your room. Clearing browser data can disconnect you from those prayers. A site account does not currently make this room portable across devices.

“Private” means hidden from other visitors. It does not mean your prayer is stored only on your device or that site administrators cannot access stored records when needed to operate the service.

Study and guided reflections

Study notes and guided reflection progress are saved in the browser where you enter them. They are not sent to an Acts 4:13 account. On a shared device, copy anything you want to keep and clear notes you do not want others using that device to see. The temporary release exercise in the Healing path is not saved to the site or browser storage.

Accounts and site operation

If you create an account, the site stores your first name, email address, a password hash, and when the address was confirmed. A secure session cookie keeps you signed in. An account currently connects public Prayer Wall posts to you; it does not synchronize study notes or guided prayer progress. Confirmation links expire after one hour. Password recovery links expire after 30 minutes. Used links cannot be used again. You can remove your account from its account page after confirming your password. Removing an account disconnects its public prayers; it does not delete those prayers, which you can remove separately.

Cloudflare delivers this site and provides basic site analytics. The Prayer Wall and accounts use a Cloudflare database. Email sent to hello@acts413.com is forwarded by Cloudflare to the site’s Gmail inbox. The email providers process and store messages under their own policies.

Email updates and simple counts

If you join the optional update list, we keep your email and subscription status. You must confirm by email before being subscribed. A link in the confirmation message lets you unsubscribe; future update messages will include an unsubscribe link. We count study starts, marked study completions, and clicks to explore Dust by day. These counts do not include your study notes, prayer text, email, or account identity. They count interactions, not unique people or book purchases.

Your choices

You can use the study and guided prayer without an account. You can remove prayers you placed in your private room from that browser’s room controls. If you choose to share on the public wall, remember that anyone can read an approved post during its public period.
