Neighbors helping an older woman recover belongings after a storm

FORMATION PATH 02

Courageous.

What does love do next?

Courage grows as we listen to Jesus and move toward the people, places, and possibilities He puts before us.

COURAGEOUS LOVE, TODAY

After the storm, courage looked like wet shoes, lifted boxes, and a neighbor who refused to let someone carry the loss alone.

“For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”ACTS 4:20 · NKJV

MATTHEW 14:22–33

The storm was still there.
Jesus said, “Come.”

Peter did not step onto calm water. Wind struck the boat, waves moved beneath him, and the other disciples stayed where wood still felt solid. But Peter heard the voice of Jesus and moved toward Him.

His courage was not certainty about the water. It was trust in the One who called him. Even when Peter’s attention broke and he began to sink, Jesus reached for him. Courage is not flawless performance. It is a faithful response—and a Savior who does not let go.

When Courage Is Needed

Sometimes courage is not a speech. It is staying present, listening well, and loving someone through the next moment.
